Boarding Info

Redington Ranch is unique having a central horse facility including the stables, arena, tack room, wash-down area, etc. With an on-site property manager (24/7), they perform daily feeding and cleaning of the stalls. Outside help has been used during the weekends and when the property manager is on vacation. Capacity for a dozen horses, currently at six. There is a parking area for the horse trailers.

The horse facilities are considered common facilities and are only available to the homeowners at Redington Ranch. As a common facility, the stables and arena are considered a capital asset of the HOA. As such the HOA is responsible for all maintenance and repairs, similar to the pool, clubhouse, tennis court and pond area.

Boarding is free for up to two horses. The direct costs of keeping a horse are paid by the individual horse owners that board horses. Direct costs include hay, medical care, shoeing, etc. The hours expended by the property manager are directly related to the number of horses boarded. Approximately $220/month for the manager’s assistance, excluding feed or bedding.

Horse Owners can opt to "self-care" their horses and not utilize the services of the property manager.
